My town is lost between maples and violets
now that hidden narcissus is going to springs
it is pouring purity.
Rain and orchard and green.
Muddy willowcart and green.
Green square of Sabzeh Meidan.
Clock tower and green.
Basket of lettuce and vinegar
and green pottery of Noruz
behind a window
closed forever.

Hassan Honarmandi,b.1307/1928,Sari(Tehran or Taleghan?),raised in Sari,Doctorate of French language and literature from university of Sorbonne,Paris,published Haras/Fear 1337/1958 with his Nimai Poetry,editor of poetry,ferdosi magazine,edited and translated numerous books on French-Persian Comparative literature, including fundementals of french poetry,and from romanticism to surrealism.He gave his life in suicids,in Paris, 3 mehr 1381/25 september 2002
